![]() The holidays are just around the corner, and if there are a few people on your list who are consistently difficult to shop for, consider a robotic lawn mower. As futuristic as it sounds, these programmable devices offer a myriad of advantages that are appealing to many homeowners. Here are a few types of people who would benefit from getting one this holiday season. Give a Robotic Lawn Mower as a Gift to These Loved Ones 1. Those With Joint Pain or the Elderly Traditional lawn mowers can be difficult to maneuver, especially for those with joint pain, muscle weakness, or any other physical health concerns. If you have relatives or friends still struggling with an old, cumbersome mower, a robotic one can mow their lawns for them. 2. Early Adopters Know someone with a smart thermostat, voice-controlled speakers, and programmable lighting? A robotic lawn mower is perfect for your tech-obsessed loved ones who are particularly hard to buy for. 3. Anyone Concerned About the Environment For those worried about their carbon footprint, they’ll be relieved to know that robotic mowers are powered by electricity. They are emissions free and need no gas to run, and they only use about $5.00 worth of electricity each month. 4. Those Who Are Busy and Budget-Conscious If someone’s too busy to mow their lawn but a paid service isn’t quite right for them at the moment, they’ll appreciate a robotic lawn mower. The intuitive, easy-to-use programming allows them to keep their lawn neat and trim without cutting into their schedule, and they won’t need to pay a service to take care of it for them. Are you eager to get a robotic lawn mower wrapped up for one of your loved ones? Contact Autmow, the first, largest, and fastest growing network of Robotic Lawn Mower specialists. Several of our customers had success advertising their maintenance-free lawn as one of the selling points of their home. Here’s how other smart home products can help:
https://www.amfam.com/resources/articles/at-home/smart-home-tech-to-increase-the-value-of-your-home?sourceid=pfb1782 As you may have noticed, the grass has been growing a little slower over the past few weeks. Many owners bring their bots in during sub-freezing nights, and let them out for one last mow in late November. Others have already called it quits. If you're taking advantage of Autmow's winter program, we plan to pick up late next week.

We helped 9to5mac with a full video review of the Husqvarna Automower. See the video here and the article on 9to5mac.com As posted in the Columbus Dispatch after the Home and Garden Show:
The Automower robotic lawn mower, made by Husqvarna, stole the show as it silently motored along a patch of fake grass at the show's entrance. Not only was the product unusual, so was its sales crew. Sunbury couple Charles and Kay Doeble bought an Automower last year, and they were so sold on the product that its regional distributor, Autmow, asked them to pitch the mowers. The Husqvarna 450x just made it on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Too bad he didn't get to run it from his Apple Watch. Of course, we'll be happy to show you everything he missed.

The mower itself does a great job consistently keeping the yard at a reasonable length. It is quiet enough to run throughout the night with the windows open and rarely requires intervention. The added service of Jeff coming out to edge, trim, and maintain the mower itself has also proven invaluable. The yard is cut, completely hands-off on my part! Would highly recommend the Automow service to anyone that's looking for an easy way to maintain their yard in an automated way. It crosses the sidewalk to the tree lawn, works along each side of the house, and stays out of the landscaping/bushes without issue. The installation was quick, Jeff has always been very responsive and made any adjustments necessary to keep the mower operating at 100%!
I hate mowing our lawn. It is a very large yard. The side property could be mowed every couple of weeks, but the main grass area, an acre and a half, had to be mowed every 3 or 4 days during growing season. Our zero-turn mower takes several gallons of gas, and I usually spent up to an hour and a half on this main area. At the Home and Garden Show this past February, I met Jeff, owner of Autmow Smartlawn Service (www.autmow.com). We set up an appointment and I was really skeptical if a robot lawnmower could do everything I was told. Our property had unique problems, along with an invisible dog fence for our two playful Newfoundlands. Jeff showed up right on time for our first appointment and answered all our questions. He was very professional, friendly and did not act like a salesperson; he was more like a friend introducing us to a modern solution for getting me off the lawn mower and back to what I would prefer doing with my summer time. We talked price, he left information for me to read, then showed me where the mowing lines would go. The next day I did extensive research on robot lawn mowers and the different manufacturers, security features and especially the warranty. I also did a lot of research on Autmow and Jeff. Everything checked out and I was very pleased with all I learned about Jeff. The mower we chose was the newest model on the market, Husqvarna 450X, and we had to wait for it to come in. Jeff sent me weekly texts keeping me up-to-date on my order. The week before the mower came in Jeff came out and set my boundary lines, after which he turned on Husqvarna’s mobile app to create a schedule. Jeff programmed the mow for 12 hours a day, every day. You can make adjustments using the Smartphone app: scheduling, cutting height, the angles of its path, proximity to the boundary wire. The weather this year has been extremely hot and I have watched my neighbors melting in the heat, mowing grass, while my robot does all the work. I also have been super impressed with Jeff (our Newfies love him too), for he has been here every step of the way and helped every time I had questions. We have had my Husqvarna 450X since June 5, 2016, and I have not mowed that acre and a half since that day. Everyone remarks on our well maintained lawn. The Husqvarna 450X has been one of the smartest purchases we have ever made. And doing business with Jeff has been one the greatest pleasures. The only question I have is why did we wait so long?
Here's a good one on the Automower from WIRED Magazine.
